Eastern Region BMX Inc – Raffle Terms & Conditions
1. Organiser

This raffle is conducted by Eastern Region BMX Inc, a declared community organisation under the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC).

 

2. Legislative Authority

This raffle is conducted in accordance with the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (Vic) and the VGCCC conditions for the conduct of raffles with a total prize value of $22,340 or less. No permit is required.

3. Purpose of Raffle

All proceeds from this raffle will be used solely for the benefit of Eastern Region BMX Inc and its community sporting activities.

4. Eligibility

Entry is open to individuals 18 years of age or older.

Members of the Eastern Region BMX Committee are not eligible to enter or win.

 

5. Ticket Sales

Tickets may only be sold for a maximum period of ten (10) days prior to the draw.

The total value of tickets available for sale will be no less than twice and no more than six times the total prize value.

Ticket sellers must be authorised by the organisation and must not receive any form of remuneration.

Sufficient contact details will be collected from each ticket purchaser to enable winner notification.

6. Ticket Details

Each ticket includes:

Name of the organising body

Ticket price

Description and retail value of the prize

Date, time and location of the draw

Method of publication or notification of results

7. Prize

Honda CRF110F Motorbike

Retail Value: $3,998.00

The prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

8. Draw Details

Date: Sunday 18 January 2026

Time: During presentations (approximately 3:30pm)

Location: Knox BMX Track, Bunjil Way, Knoxfield

The draw will be conducted in a manner that ensures each ticket has a random and equal chance of being drawn.

The winning ticket will not be returned to the draw.

9. Winner Notification

The winner will be announced at the draw.

Results will be published on the Eastern Region BMX website and/or the winner will be contacted via the phone number or email provided within 48 hours of the draw.

 

10. Prize Collection

The winner must provide valid photo identification to claim the prize.

The prize must be collected in person by arrangement with Eastern Region BMX Inc.

The prize must be claimed within 28 days of the draw date unless the winner cannot be identified, located, or declines the prize.

11. Unclaimed Prizes

Unclaimed prizes will be managed in accordance with Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission requirements

​

12. Records and Banking

Accurate records relating to ticket sales, prize distribution, and raffle finances will be kept for three (3) years.

All raffle-related transactions will be conducted through a single financial institution account held in Victoria.

​

13. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of the raffle and winner notification, and will not be disclosed except as required by law.
