TA 2009 is Done and Dusted
The organisers of the Ariens-Gravely Track Attack 2009 race series would like to send a big thank you and congratulations to all the competitors that entered this year's race series. Big thanks also to the families and riders that came from far and wide to support the event, including all states of Australia, New Zealand and even the USA and Sweden! Full series results are posted here.
Many thanks go to our naming rights sponsor Ariens-Gravely, the name to remember for all your commercial quality garden care equipment, BMXMAD for their help with the series t-shirts and RSABOUT for their help with the Track Attack website during the event. We hope these guys will be with us next year for 2010!
Last, but not least, a big thanks to all the club members, parents and volunteers that helped make Track Attack 2009 happen, including those that slaved away preparing tracks before, during, and after Christmas to get them up to scratch for Track Attack - no easy feat when families want to be away on holidays and the weather is getting hot. Huge thanks also to the scorers, officials, first-aiders, commentators and all others who assisted. Without you Track Attack wouldn't have happened - we apprecaite your help. Thank you all!
Series t-shirts : Our second order of shirts are arriving this week (we still have about 10 that were preordered in the first batch and need to be paid for) so please email to confirm you would like a series t-shirt. Cost is $20 plus $4 pp - Email
Raffle Winner : Eastfield member Peter Johnston won the series raffle, the Ariens LM21S lawn mower.

Please be aware if you have emailed your entry to the website email address please make sure you print and fill out a copy of the TA entry form to hand in at registration and remember to bring along the correct cash or cheque ready to hand over. (As usual there will be no change given, unless exceptional circumstances and payment of late fees - no entries on the day will be taken)

Coaching Clinic details updated
The coaching clinic on Thursday 15 January will be held at the Eastfield BMX Club on Colchester Road, Kilsyth. There will be two separate training sessions. First will run from 9.00am to 11.00am and the second is 1.00pm to 3.00pm. Cost is $40 per rider per session. Coaches are Sean Dwight, former Australia HP coach and current coach of Olympians Nicole Callisto and Kyle Bennett, and Tony Harvey, former Australian Elite men champion and Victorian Super coach.

Track Attack 2009 t-shirts can now be reserved. Limited sizes will be available and cost $20 each. Strictly first in best dressed and once they are gone they are gone. Childrens size 10, 12, 14 and adult size S/M/L/XL/2XL. Contact us to reserve yours.

Presentation Event
The details of the Presentation Event are now available. This will be held on Sunday, 25 January 2009 at 3:30pm at the Knox BMX track, the site of the final race of the series. There will be a BBQ courtesy of the Eastern Region and drinks at canteen prices.
